
Atlanta, June 29. Paris Saint-Germain gave a strong performance in the FIFA Club World Cup Round of 16, beating Inter Miami 4-0 at the packed Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The French champions controlled the game from start to finish, showing their skill and teamwork against an Inter Miami side led by Lionel Messi.
PSG started strong and scored early. João Neves jumped high to head in a perfect cross in the 6th minute. The 19-year-old Portuguese midfielder scored again in the 39th minute after a smooth passing move between Bradley Barcola and Fabián Ruiz.

Things got worse for Inter Miami just before halftime. Defender Tomás Avilés who came on after Noah Allen got injured, accidentally scored an own goal in the 42nd minute. PSG added a fourth goal in added time when Achraf Hakimi shot past goalkeeper Drake Callender after a fast attack.
In the second half, Lionel Messi showed some moments of skill, including a shot that just missed the post, but Inter Miami couldn’t fight back. PSG coach Luis Enrique made some changes to rest players for the next round.
The game had a huge crowd of 65,574 fans the highest number so far in this tournament.
