10 June, Kathmandu. Italy defeated Bosnia 1-0 on Sunday in their penultimate warm-up game before the European Championship, which gets underway in Germany the following week. Midfielder Davide Frattesi scored an incredible goal in the first half of the encounter.

Italy put on another mostly lackluster display, taking the lead in the 38th minute through a fantastic first-time strike by Frattesi into the roof of the net off a cross from Federico Chiesa.
Frattesi said, There’s always space for development. We have to put in more if we want to be ready, and we will succeed.” The opportunities are ours to seize, but we must act. Still, there were some encouraging signs.

Spalletti started midfielder Jorginho and striker Chiesa in the starting lineup despite making nine changes from the 0-0 draw with Turkey on Tuesday. Italy takes on Albania on Saturday to begin their Euro 2024 campaign. On June 20, they play Spain, and four days later, they play Croatia.
Italy will play Spain, the reigning champion, as well as Croatia and Albania in a challenging Group B at the Euros.
