Doha, Qatar \u2014 Spain and Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmat\u00ed and Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Demb\u00e9l\u00e9 claimed the top individual honours at The Best FIFA Football Awards\u2122 2025, held at a star-studded ceremony in Doha on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Bonmat\u00ed was crowned The Best FIFA Women\u2019s Player for a historic third consecutive year, becoming the first women\u2019s footballer to achieve the feat. Meanwhile, Demb\u00e9l\u00e9 was named The Best FIFA Men\u2019s Player 2025, receiving his award from FIFA President Gianni Infantino during the FIFA Celebration 2025 Dinner in Qatar.<\/p>\n

Bonmat\u00ed Makes History<\/h3>\n

The Barcelona midfielder was recognised after another outstanding season for both club and country.<\/p>\n

Demb\u00e9l\u00e9 enjoyed a memorable campaign with Paris Saint-Germain, helping the club win the Coupe de France, their 13th Ligue 1 title, and a historic first UEFA Champions League title, before finishing runners-up at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025\u2122.<\/p>\n

“First of all, I’d like to thank all my team-mates, it turns out hard work pays off. It has been a fantastic year for me, both individually and as a team,”<\/em> said the 28-year-old.

Sarina Wiegman was named The Best FIFA Women\u2019s Coach 2025 after guiding England to a second consecutive UEFA Women\u2019s EURO title.<\/p>\n

In goal, Hannah Hampton claimed The Best FIFA Women\u2019s Goalkeeper award after a domestic treble with Chelsea and a decisive role in England\u2019s European triumph.<\/p>\n

Italian international Gianluigi Donnarumma, now with Manchester City, was named The Best FIFA Men\u2019s Goalkeeper 2025 for his performances with PSG.<\/p>\n
